OK…Here is my plan and advice is needed. I plan on being a Master Rifleman and a Master Chef crazy? To quote Stephen Segal "no one beats me in the kitchen". Anyway I have thought of becoming my groups soon to be formed PA. I have the idea of getting a house (Kitchen) and it will be there to allow PA members to gather needed food/drinks/deserts etc. I need to know what I need to do in order to maximize my profit (non-PA members) but do I also need to train scout skills or other in order to get stuff needed to prep the food. Also what do other PA members need to setup to maximize my production harvesters or whatever? Is there a place that has recipes and list of the items a Chef can make and what attributes they effect and how long etc? I really want to make my kitchen come to life but beneficial and profitable as well. So I would like to ask for the help of the other culinary experts around here. Also would like to know any in game macros that may have been devised to make this whole process a smooth one. I know this is a lot but several members of my clan got a jump-start. BTW. The Master rifleman part comes from me being a non-active Army Scout Sniper. Just incase your wondering about that part. Please any assistance would be grand.

As you may have read in other threads, Chefs are not very useful right now, especially to a guild.

The real problem, as I am fond of pointing out, is that factories don't work for chefs. Consequently, you cannot produce a large stack of 1 food.

If your guild wants a nice Willpower buff, then the old K-18 Rations can help them. Problem is, you have to hand make them and they turn out in stacks of 3 or 4 and these stacks will not stack with each other. One stack is good for 1 dose, so if someone wants 20 doses they need 20 stacks.

This is so much trouble that nobody wants to bother.

It's even a pain for you, having to upload 20 stacks into your vendor and then deal with 20 emails as someone buys them, and knowing that all this work and spam was only enough to last 1 person for about 1 day. To supply a whole guild you'll end up needing so many stacks of 3 that it's just not worth it.

A chef without a factory cannot supply a guild. Factories are broken, so chefs cannot supply a guild.

...

So work your way up to Chef if you feel like it, but until they fix factories, do not expect to be anything other than a cutesie roleplaying class that does nothing really beneficial for your guild.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with rifleman/chef. That's what I do. I pretty much get my own hides and run my own harvesters but unfortunately the assistance I get from the guild is mostly of the "pity party" variety because frankly, if you want a buff, talk to a smuggler. Their buffs are better and less of a hassle on your inventory.
