What will it take to get a SINGLE response or comment from a dev on the droid engineer issues?

You would think the fact that there are only 5 in the entire damned game would be a sign, but no.

whatever... this is so frustrating.

It would be reassuring.

Yes, this really needs to be adressed. Nobody cares about droids, not just the devs, nobody cares about them because:

a) Nobody knows what theyre capable of

b) Theres such a giant deterrent to becoming a droid engineer theres nobody to provide the droids

Droids seem like a novelty right now, the devs need to make DE a REAL profession.

I would at least like to see a simple acknowledgement that they're aware of our concerns (bugs, non-working modules, and experience balancing issues) and are looking into them.

Think of it this way: Until they do get some attention, you'll not have very much competition...and then, when the devs finally lay the hand of God on the profession ..you're going to the be the one in demand while everyone else is scrambling to get the xp

It's pretty obvious that they simply didn't get around to DE before release (which was too early by almost any measurement). We'll just have to wait for it. If someone DID post, they'd simply say exactly what you expect them to say: We're working on it. Do you expect them to tell you they've given up on it? ..lol ...even if it were true, it's not something you'd say.

This type of thread is as pointless as all the Jedi threads. Everyone knows the answer to the Jedi threads before they ask them, yet they ask them anyway ...lol

its not a pointless thread though... it helps the devs determine the priorty of the droid engineer problem. the more complaints there are about the profession the faster they'll address the DE issues. if we sit back and look content, then they'll put us on the back burning until they finish the things that people are most unhappy about.

What will it take to get some active response from the dev's? Was something planned and the recent fires screwed everything up? Who knows? I'm starting a campaign. Ever time anyone logs on...start a new postand call it "Fix Chefs". Everyone do this! Sir Vimes has been doing an outstanding job and he's shown real dedication to our community, but we need to get more attention somehow. Think how much every other class will be betterwhen the buffing class (aka chef) is closer to being fixxed!! With our corrected buffs, the other classes will kick arse and make lots of moolah to come back and buy more form our vendors!

Start your posts! A new one..FIX CHEFS!!

We may be getting some attention from the developers soon. Thunderheart has some things going on that are just beginning to take off.

Thiswill mean that communication between us and the developers will improve...I really hope. I really hope.

As for actual fixes...honestly, I think it is just a matter of time.

All it takes is the job removal of several offending developers... and replacing them with new and more diligent developers...

I do have to say that all this waiting has made me put my profession on the back burner (yes, pun intended! ). So now I gain points in Commando, utterly awaiting the day that the devs come to our rescue..
