I got Chef from bh as well..

Anyway I'm not a master, just 0020 right now, but I've picked up a few things, plus can give you a few tips on what route to take.

For Skills:

Beleive it or not you can still be extremely good in combat well a Chef. 158 points is a lot. But one thing you must understand is you will eventually have to give up EVERY skill in BH, including novice. Best thing to do is just revamp now. With that many skill points you can do any of the elite combat prof's from brawler or marksman, you can go my route (0040 commando), or dabble however you like. Either way you will still do plenty of damage and be able to maintain novice medic.

For Chef:

Get up to novice chef however you like, I did metal fastners. After your here make wastil bread. Make it until your hands fall off. Go straight up to mixology II. Once there make Ithorian mists and go however you like. Put up all heavy harvesters if you can afford it, and use every lot if you can. Right now I have three heavy flora's and a heavy moisture, and have well over half my play time to run missions. With more I could easily get 1-2 skills a day, crafting like mad. Use multiple (3-5) crafting tools and line them all up. Keep non-essential resources in a backback so you dont have to search on the select screen, and maybe even use a macro to perform all the operations but the select. Hope this helps.

Actually I found that making Deutorium-pyro (sp) was better after MIxology I. I was able to gain 100XP per build instead of teh 70XP from The WB. And from Dem Arts IV on to Novice Chef I did Travel Packs. They preovided quite a bit of xp, storage for resources in my house and I even sold a few.

PS. I got Chef and was a MCH and Mas. Carbinier.
