I use to get excited about dev posts

but, i swear, thunderheart posts only bs and smileys

I don't hate the guy
i'm sure he's cool
but.. dude, come on.. don't blow us off
look at our forums, you can see we are crap
yet we get the "we'll get to you next week.. if we have time" routine
and that's just to "ask questions"

the questions will probably be "how should we fix chef"
as if scanning down a little wouldn't get you the answers

the whole dev system has made me lose faith
i thought it'd be cool to play a game where the dev's listen to you
but.. come on bros! WE ARE IGNORED

Meh. You get used to it. Its very similar to getting desensitized to violence.

Unfortunately he's got to give answers like that. If he promises anything, the public will hold the entire company to it. He can't promise chefs or any other profession anything without prior approval from the managers above him.

This isn't saying he has no power, it's just to say he really really REALLY has to watch what he says. It could tick off a lot of people or it could get hopes way too high depending on what he has to say.

I.e. don't expect him to come here and say "We're going to fix Chefs and we'll make you great!" without them A) already working on it internally and B) having approval from his superiors.

Don't hold anything against Thunderheart. He's just doing his job.

Thunderheart is trying his best, and I don't seem him doing a bad job. He actually answered on this board which is a big improvement. No other developer has done that when he didn't have to.

Some of the things he is doing will help, they are just a little slow in taking off, which is understandable. I have a feeling that in a few weeks we will see some improvements.

My pa is awesome, and i have fun with them
it's just that this game could and should be alot better if i'm gonna pay-to-play it
and it could be.. it really really could be.. it's got potential

but i don't think i should wait around for that potential to manifest itself

I just hope, for his sake, that he is getting paid a decent wage, and that his medical benefits include psychiatric care.
