Way back in the day when my crafting mentor handed me a crate of Port he told me to use it just before I got to the experimentation phase when crafting.
Since then, especially cause im an Arch, I havent really had much need for that one or two amazing successes so I pretty much just let it go to the wayside. Well recently I respected to get rid of that damn annoying window that kept popping up and as such added WS to my skill set. A new mentor suggested that I start spending my Exp points one at a time to get the best result. I had never heard that before but I took it at face value. So what I would like to know is, how does the crafter foods work in relation to spending of points. Do I drink everytime I am going to spend a single point? should I drink for a group of points? Does it stay in effect for the whole experimentation phase of crafting? If anyone could help me out here I would be greatful.
oh...and I <3 the VCC

The bonus is for every experiment roll, regardless if you use 10 pts or one, if you are going to use 10 pts on a single roll you will only use one dose of port before the experiment. If however you decide to do 10 rolls of one point each, you will need 10 doses of port.
I guess the risk/reward on how you want to do your experimentation varies greatly from profession to profession, for example architect is for the most part inconsequential, in chef you use no loot components so you can try for the 8pt all amazing roll several times untill you get it, on weaponsmith with some very costly loot components well I would not know what is best there truly, I guess experience will say. Hope this clears it up
