Jus wondered....spice tea, arhisa etc working? I was playing earlier and I noticed that regardless of the amount mind regen stuff I ate (tea, ahrisa, Mando) my mind regen was very very slow. On further analysis i realised that my melee attacks were in fact takin away some mind during execution. Indeed,although a small amount (1-2%) but it was enough to reduce and even stall my mind regen completely.
I first discovered this without havingconsumed any mind regen food. Iassumed that just a dose of spice tea might be enough to overcome this 1-2%'stalling'. To my suprise even600mind regenstacked did not overcome this.
Ive yet to do further testingon this but it appears to me that mind regen is not workin during battle (itmight well work when ur not, but wots the point?!). Can anyone else gimme some info on this?

it does work, but it's based on a %. a 20% spice or +200 food will actually speed up your mind's regen by about 10% (bug, maybe). since the base regen rate of the mind is very slow to begin with, that 10% increase is pretty small. still, if two identical templates use the same attacks/heals and one uses foods while the other doesn't, the one with foods will persist after the other is dead.

I believe regen stats max out at 250, so you had 350 of wasted regen in your example (didnt even think you can stack it that high). Regen does work, and quite noticably too. The best way to test is spam a heal until your mind baris completely empty thentime how long it takes to get back up to max, with food and without. The difference is quite significant.

Okay.... FOODS DO WORK, dang it.
Action regens!!
Firing confusion shot until I reach 70% action. Used a Cdef pistol with 102 SAC.
Test 1 - Time =1:32 to reach 70% Action. No foods/spice, standing (base line)
Test 2 - Time =1:32 to reach 70% Action. No foods/spice, kneeling(shows no difference in action regen, and gives expected error of 2 sec for 4 min)
Test 3 - Time =Never Reached 70%act.Blob candy, 178 pts action regen. (action pool fully recharged beforeeach new shot)
FiringKip-up shot until I reach 70% action. Same pistol
Test 4 - Time= 0:40 to reach 70% action. Blob candy, 178 pts action regen. (new base line for testing nuetron pixie)
Test 5 - Time = 1:11 to reach 70% action. Blob candy, and Nuetron Pixie (Shows that blob candy and NP effects DO stack)

Mind regens!!
Using Bacta Spray (Nov CM), and a macro that fires it every 10 seconds, until pool points were drained and heal could not be made.
Test 1 - Time = 4:04 to reach no heal. No foods / Spice. Standing (baseline for tests)
Test 2 - Time = 4:02 to reach no heal. No foods / Spice. Kneeling (2 sec server/client lag difference)
Test 3 - Time = 3:33 to reach no heal. Caf / Nuetron Pixie (Shows debuff from NP is working)
Test 4 - Time = 4:40to reach no heal. Caf, no spice (Shows a slight improvement of regen, about 16.66% above base)
Test 5 - Time = 6:06 to reach no heal. Caf, Booser Blue (Shows significant increase of regen, about 50% above base)
Regens DO work. End of story.
