I notice a wide range of resources needed for chefs, but am curious about some of them.

Example to make pikatta pie the spreadsheet mentions 3 different reosurces plus bantha butter which consists of its own resources.

To make the pie better do you need all those resources to be top notch quality, or are there only a few key resources that a chef should be on the look out for?

Bantha butter is a component, therefore the stats on the resources for that doesn't have to be the best.

The BE additive that you put in your Pikatta must be made with top quality resources in order to maintain a high output.

The Wheat, Water and Fruit (I believe those are the resources) for the Pikatta must all be top notch in order to maximize the stat output.

The only resources that affect the quality of the food are the ones used to actually make the food. Resources used in subcomponents can be of low quality and have no effect on the final product. Additives are a little different, in that the quality of the tissue used to make the additive sets the bonus level, so the tissue should be of good quality (although the water used in the additive can be crap).

So for Pikatta Pie, you'll want good quality Wheat, Fruits, Water, and Broad Spectrum Nutrient; the Milk and Fruits used in the bantha butter and the Water used in the medium additive can be low quality and cheap.
