I made a run of 39crates +17.5, 17mins, 7 charges...
Problem is that I havent sold a single crate in 4 days at 100k per crate
I have tried this stuff and find that I still get failures while trying to gather a sample....
Is this a broken/bugged food???

I'm not sure if at 100 thats 100% or just a skill of 100. I've never seen any math on how this skill works
BTW this forum is pretty slow sometimes, answers may takes hrs or even days to get.

at 20k a crate you either made none BE stuff or you're getting the additives for free...... at 1600/additive thats a cost of 40k/crate ?

oops sorry, yes, thats non-BE. Add on 25k for BE's Chandad.

This food works, it just has limited use.
Get survey 1-3, eat the food, then try to change your tool options. You should notice a new range option greater than your current level.

Yea, this is about the only good use for it. Same goes for the Surveying tree in force sensitive skills. It doesn't appear there is any bonus over 100 so all the food and FS skills do it allow you to save some skill points(although for FS you use 4 to save 4-5, not really a big savings.

Firstly, yes, chandad works. It makes only a very small difference, but if you are grinding surveying XP, it helps a touch (or hand sampling over a long period)
Secondly, 100k a crate seems pretty high to me. I know I was charging 20k a crate on these, and thats at a unit rate of 20cpu, so on average 17cpu profit.
It was never a big seller, there aren't many people that grind sampling and are worried by a 10% boost these days. Think I maybe sold 10 crates since October
