Thread: Stomach fill problems...Was told to post here by TSR

Whenever I drink anything my drink stomach fill bar(yellow bar) fills the stomach fill-bar box as normal, but also jumps outside of that box to the left. For example, brandy, fills my stomach to 50% AND about a half inch to the left of box. After this happens, I cannot drink another brandy until my stomach fill shows to be about 1/3 full. Any more than that and it tells me I'm too full to drink. It's taking into account what is out of the box as far as fill is concerned, but when I drink the brandy it fills the box as normal(50%). So, the actual stomach fill is more than the bar(in the bar fill box) shows. Long story short, I can only have one Brandy in effect at a time. This is not normal as the first(of four) CSR's told me. It's a friggin' bug I have reported it to CSR's 4 times and have received 4 different answers(not surprised), none of which have fixed the problem. The last CSR asked me to put it on the SWG technical forums. I did so and was told by TSR Chad that it was a chef issue, check the chef forums(ROFLMAO), and he locked the thread. When I questioned Chad about it(somewhat harshly), I got banned from the forums. Needless to say my blood is boiling.

Tks for any help in advance as the A$$HAT TSR Chad and the CSR's have been quite a bit less than helpful.

Since this is my first dealings with CSR's and TSR's, I'm starting to beleive everything I've heard about them.

Well, it has only been a half hour. The chef forum is slow enough that people can easily catch up checking every few hours.

This is a known bug. The colored bars for your food/drink fullness drift away from the containing boxes, most often caused by adjusting the size of the character sheet.In my experience, one drifts to the left of the boxes, and one to the right.

The reason you're probably getting the "too full" message when the bar is showing half full is because of some remaining bars hidden over to the left of the drink box.

Let's see how my ascii art skills are today:

==|==========++++++++++|

The = is your drink fullness bar, the |'s are the left and right limits of the drink box, and the +'s are empty space in the box.

The orange = signs are off the left side of the box, aren't really visible,and represent about 10 filling. So when the box shows as empty (the yellow = replaced by +), you still have 10 filling left to digest. Drinking a 50 fill brandy put's you at 60 filling, even though only 50 shows.

So that explains why you're having this problem. As for what to do about it...well not much. You can spend around 45m in game without drinking anything to ensure your drink bar is completely empty. At that point, you should be able to drink two 50 filling brandies at the same time. Some people have reported problems with drinking two 50 filling brandies (possibly due to the game tracking the drink stats as 50.7 filling but only displaying 50), if you have that problemsee if finding 49 fill brandy helps, or just waitaround 30sbefore drinking the second brandy.

To fix the display, I've had some luck stretching the character sheet horizontally until the left side of the colored bar lines up with the left side of the containing box (they shift independently when you expand the character sheet).

As a final option, there is some config file in your profile settings that "remembers" things like window sizes. I can't remember off hand what it is, though. If you delete that, the window sizing resets back to default, which should re-sync the colored food/drink bars with the box that's supposed to hold them. IIRC, that file tracks all your HUD stuff, so you will also get the default locations for hotkeys, radar, chat windows, etc.
