Which line are the additives under in Bioengineer?
Also, has it been determined if experimentation matters on the BE additives or just the OQ and PE, etc of the resources?
Im trying to see if a viable template for Chef/BE can be worked out.

You might want to ask these questions on the BE board, since they don't appear to apply directly to Chef.
Check here for how BE additives affect chefs:

The resources and experimentation affect the quality of a BE additive. The resource quality does not matter when you put the BE additive into a chef food additive

Muwhahaha, you cant ever escape me Spiritbringer!
Anyways, on our server, 57/87/118 is the norm for additives.
I have several leads on a large supplier, so i will hook you up once i get my stuff.

I like to use
light 55+
med 85+
INN 115+
but if it's been along time between good meat shifts I sometimes have to settle for lower.

What can someone expect to pay per crate for these things? As everything does, I'm sure it varies from server to server, but is there sort of an average?
I'm going to be picking up chef shortly, but I want to be sure I'm fully prepared.
Also (and please excuse the super-newb questions, lol), how many crates can one expect to need for each run of the top sellers (e.g. brandy, canape, etc.)?
And lastly, is there someplace to find out which resources need which stats to make the best of the best? I've tried swgcraft, but it's not very specific as to which resource stat directly relates to which attribute of the food/drink.
Thank you for all the help! I look forward to hearing from all of you and getting to know my fellow chefs better. =D

I pay 1.3 mil 1.5 mil and 1.7-1.9 mil for full runs of additves
There's no way of telling how many additives you'll use it depends on people buying it from you, and thats not very predictable. To start depending on how much money you have buy single crates 2 or 3 at a time. If you can buy full runs and don't mind having them sit around... go for it
To do a full run of brandy you'd need 20 crates of broad spctrum nutrient 20 crates of casks 40 crates of alcohol 10000 berries and 10000 fruit. But thats alot of brandy for a starting chef to make
PE 66% /OQ 33%= nutrition
DR 75% /OQ 25%= fill
FL 66% /oq 33% = duration
DR 25% / PE 75% = quantity
This works for most foods but there are a few that use diffrent %

Oh my golly, that was a perfect reply!
Thank you so much. You answered just about every question I've had roaming around in my head for the past 3 days, lol.
Oh, actually...here's one more...
Supposing I sell nothing but brandy and canapes at first, and the price is whatever your server averages, do you think it'd take long for me to make back the 30 mil I spent on my experimentation outfit? hehehe. That chunk of money hurt...badly...(but it still wasn't bad enough to make me go out and drop $100 real dollars on an alt, lol).
Thanks again for the awesome reply!
