Im only a 10 pointer, with 106 experiment and 106 assembly. Now, double amazings arent things you come across every day, especially for somebody like myself. When making a schematic for my first ever run of brandy I got this double amazing, without using bespin or being in a research city. To my delight, it came out as:

21 quantity

46 minute duration

+388 power

49 fill

So off I go to put it in my factory. I say to myself 'If the serial numbers are different for any reason ill cry'. Low and behold, somehow a rogue BE additive crate, of its own serial number was used rather than my 40+ mediums stored away. I did manage to find 1 crate left of this other rogue serial number. OK i thought, i can still get about 160k for that. So I carry on, and try to have another wack at at least 1 amazing on flavour. A few tries later, i get it. What happens - my client crashes...annoyed again, but not yet giving up, i reset my computer and try again.

At this point I decide to write this post, which is bad enough already, it may have stopped here. But oooooh no. Turns out my datapad was full when I had that double amazing. No schematic. 1 crate of rogue be additive. 160k down the drain. So now im just settling with

21 quantity

43 minute duration

+400 power

49 fill

Now to me 12 power instead of a whole 3 minutes extra just isnt cricket. Somebody must die.

It can be really hard to get those amazings, sometimesI will even use up crates of components just gunning for two amazing successes to get +407/49min brandy hehe

Even through all that, once you get it, doesn't it give you a really good feeling of accomplishment?

A few things:

1. If your datapad is full, don't hit return. hit CTRL D and bring it up and delete one.

2. If you are only selling your stuff for 160K a crate, I have found you can sell almost ANY quality on the bazaar for 6K each (150K per crate) sure it takes longer but still.

I am a 12 point chef so mine is a little higher and I charge 275K.

different servers different prices.. as a 11pt chef mine is about +420 42 min 49 fill 18 uses and i sell mine for about 170k a crate

LOL I only get 175k out of my 430 46.5min 18use 50 fill stuff

Hell,Naritus must be the cheapest server. I sell +407/51m/50fill/18uses - for 75k(note: I prefer longer duration buff then the extra 20pts buff). I'm in the middle range of pricing. Saitek sells her's for 50k a crate, I think.

To the orig poster: I would spend the exp on buff rather than uses, but thats just my opinion.

Wow...just my medium BE additives cost 50k a crate.

Why would you ever go over 45 minutes (since that's how long it takes for fill to go down to 0 with a double shot)

your target goals should be this:

+400 or more (+400 looks a lot better on the vendor than +399.... and sells more)

43:30 or more (that's the time it take to fully empty the stomach. so you can drink 2 again when the first 2 runs out)

50% fill (some say 49, due to bugged drinkbars, but personally have never had a problem selling 50% brandy)

18/21 uses (whatever points you got left... people rarely look at the uses, but of course 21 is better, but not that important)

Personally i make +407, 49:30, 50%, 18 uses with 12 pts... and +85 tissues.

Gonna have a go with 87's in a few days, and hope for +400, 51:00... it's gonna be 399 or 400... *crosses fingers*..
