Best cloths are the ones with 4 sockets also you cant stack tapes so dont drop a +1 then a +3 in the +3 will vanish
Actually, the higher bonus sticks, so you'll lose the +1.

Just as a genral note - anyone got any tips to picking up chef Exp CA's?
I know that things like this kind of end up getting sent to the trade forum for the galaxy, but you guys must be getting them from somewhere - and I'm having a hellish time getting my hands on any to be honest.
So yeah - any spare tapes out there in the wilds of Kettemoor I'll be happy to take them off your hands - in return for money even!

Does anyone know if Food Exp tapes will coexist in the Chef crafter's apron? Or will it actlike two of the same tapes in article of clothing thus cancelling out the lower tape?
good question; but i'm pretty sure they will not work.

If you put a skill tape into any piece of clothing that already has a bonus to the same skill (whether the clothing bonus is built-in like the chef apron, from a BE tissue like +melee defense, or a previous tape) the numbers don't stack: you lose the tape and only the higher number gets used.
So if you put a +3 experimentation tape into the apron, you'd lose the tape and the apron would remain at +5. If you put a +6 experimentation tape into the apron, you'd lose the tape and the apron would now be +6.
Many skill tapes died bringing us this information...
Question: What is the point of having 4 sockets if skill tapes override eachother? Is it merely there just so you can have 4 DIFFERENT bonuses on one clothing piece?
