Vegeparsine is for melee defense correct? Is there a difference when I make veghash components with additives before making Vegeparsine?

The quality of the components has no effect on any chef food, even if it is another food. 
So no, use all you grind materials and don't waste adds on the veghash for the vegeparsine.

cool thanks, and when I expirement should I bother going over 20 if I can't reach +25 melee def?

My advice would to try and hit +25, the closer the better really.

thx for the post higginsis...I never thought about not putting additives in the veghash to make the vegeparsine. It seems that I am constantly learning something new....lol. However on this one I should have known....lol

I would get the highest full point you can and then exp in other areas (ie: 22.8 is no better than 22.0).
