Thread: New Master Chef, food critique and expermentation questions.

I just mastered chef last night, I have had the +20 exp suit for about 2 weeks now and started making my first food.
Last night I made some canape, arissa, and brandy tell me how this looks.
Brandy: +404 50 fil 45 min 30 seconds
Canape: +690 33 fil 9 min 32 seconds
Canape: +732 39 fil 11 min 38 sec
Arisa: +385 33 filling 46 minutes
This was all on my first try i didnt go back and try to get more amazings. I am a 12 point chef with +10 assembly in my suit, and am working in a research center. I have no resources more than 2 months old....I know this is probably a huge limitation.
How do I get more amazing sucesses? How much will fs expermentation help? How much will bespin port help? How is this food?
Also as far as assemlbyu is concerned, is it just the first roll? I have some people tell me that if you assembly is higher your expermentations will yield more points, is this true?
And finally I would like to thank everone who has answered my questions on my path to masteralmost everyone was helpful, especially sciguyCO you rock man.

For a first run its nice, very nice. On the more amazing success, i can't comment on FS exp but when in a research centre with my +15.00 tools and +45.00 station and bespin port, it doesn't take long to get a amazing success.

for my brandy, which is always 438/46 minutes (i'm not on your server but it does use old fruit that newer chefs on my server don't have), i need an amazing on 8 points in nutrition, and an amazing on 4 points in duration. i craft in a research center, and i just stay patient. i wait for the first amazing, and then drink bespin hoping for the 2nd on the same schema. i think my max number of tries is 53, some call me obsessed.

i have never noticed any difference in making food from amazing assemblies. my understanding is that they do help in AS and WS, but for us they don't.

You're a chef hunt down the parts and make itIt sells well even if you don't use it yourself. FS experimentation is not worth grinding. If you get it as a free unlock and you don't live in a research center then yes it's worth getting. If you really want to get more amazings get the best tool you can find ( max is 15

This is only true if your assembly is good or lower, great and amazing give the same results
