Yup, it takes the jacket slot, so you can wear shirt trousers, belt bandoliet, hat and shoes.

Correct, the looted schematic Chef's Crafter apron takes the place of the jacket (or armor chestplate). The belt would only take the place of a PSG if you were to wear one, but that isn't too likely as no one should be wearing their chef crafting clothes outside anyways. Its truewe can equip degraded clothes NOW, but I'm not about to gamble that my 25 mill in clothing is going to still be equipable if it degrades to 0 after the CURB has arrived.
