I'm getting sick and tired of crafting individual camps. What do I need to craft crates of 'em? What is the max number of camps that a crate can hold?

You need Equipment factory and all. Then if you make 100 tents then it will spilt em up 25 per crate so run of 100 will give 4 crates of 25.

Ok Berries and Fruits are number 1. Most used items in the common foods that sell. Then as far as water goes just get junk stat water for making addtives from BEs. Stats dont matter cause its all in the BE's addtives. After that just gather some Wild Wheat, beans, rice and any other assortment of grains for your sub part usage. Stats dont matter for sub parts. After that ya will need specific ingredidants for some of the other foods but that is best left till after ya mastered. If ya got some scout skills start gathering Carn meat and Insect meat with high OQ,PE,and DR. Carn meat for making addtives and insect meat ya will need for vercupti.

Batman, I see schematics taking FL and DR into consideration for flora foods.
Really, I'm a bit lost here, if this is true I would have to look for high OQ/PE/FL/DR foods and this cannot be
I've been playing around a bit and I've thought about some trim down I want you (or anyone else literate in chef foods) to take a look.
1 - I should look for high OQ/PE/DRcarnivore and insect meat. Any FL is cool.
2 -I should look for high OQ/PE on flora.Any FL or DR is cool.
3 - I should look for high OQ/DR hides. Any SR is cool.
Is any of these affirmations true?
4 - Edit question: Also, is carnivore meat used on anything else besides BE additives? cuz carn meat for BE needs OQ/PE/FL not DR.
Any help is welcome.

Chef is complicated in that way. Yes, you want to look for high OQ/PE/FL/DR. All of them. PE is the most important for nutritional value and quantity, DR for filling and FL for duration. They all have other things that are the secondaries, but every single stat of a flora resource comes into play. The foods they apply to can call for very different things (e.g. Parwan Nutricake is all about flavor. You can get flora with relatively crappy stats, but if you have nice FL, your cake will work as intended. Vasarian Brandy calls for high stats in flora across the board because you want high nutrition, long duration, high uses and low fill.)
In terms of meat, for insect you want high OQ/PE/DR. The higher the DR, the more likely you'll be able to hit 50 fill vercupti, which is really the only thing we use bug meat for. For carnivore, I like to go with an all around high stat carnivore because I'm accustomed to selling bivoli (which is what it's used in aside from BE additives) that's +25 with the full 3 uses that lasts for almost 16 minutes. Every stat aside from filling needs to be covered, which means that the DR can be a little lower, but it still can't be too low because it will affect the number of uses. Everything is very interconnected within the profession.
Hide is good when the OQ/DR are high. If your SR is too low, I would imagine you'd run the risk of coming up with low-use synthsteak, but I've never had this happen even with some of the lesser hides I've used.
I feel like I'm missing something, but that covers what I can think of at the moment.

The best advice I can give to a new chef is to befriend a chef who's online a lot and glad to help. We're all happy to help you out on this forum but there are so many little things about the profession that can be confusing at first and it's really helpful to have a buddy available to send a quick tell to. You're welcome to put me on your friends list and send me a tell if you have a question (valcyn.aye).

Thanks alot for the help, it is much appreciated, I'm a former doc and I used to know what was where, and now I'm discovering it all over again, but IMO chef is more complex.
Well it's much better now, I now know what look top on meats and hides, just need to collect flora and try it on the different recipes, since I'm 0404 now and I'm not master, gonna finish up the rest
so I can try the meals and drinks.
If I reach "brain stop" again I will take your call Aye
