We have been hunting krayts a few days now, we still keep getting kd even with 101 kd def.
Does anyone have an explanation ?

There is still a chance you get KD.
But Thak definitely helps.
But it might be that there are different versions of KD, some more powerful then the other and able to break through defences easier. I would assume a 40 meter long Krayt has pretty good chances to knock everyone down

I duelled somebody the other day. I tried KDing him and he went down on the first try. We went again...same thing. The third time, he ate some +100 thak and I couldn't get him down to save my life, so yes, it definitely works! lol.

i don't think they kd you every time, they just like to spam the attack since they really only have one

there is always a 5% chance to get KD
therefore +95 kd defense in max in pvp. 100 - (kd def) = % chance to get KD
however krayts have bonus to KD, so they will KD you more frequently

noone said the values for "Defense vs Knockdown" are a percentage value.

Yeah, dragons have a higher chance to kd you....try going for dizzy defense, one of my guildmate has 120 dizzy defense, giants will kd him, but he's never been dizzied AND kded at the same time. It's just like jedis and dervish 2, they can dizzy/stun/blind elders and dragons, which no other class can do.
Belly flopping elders are the shiznit.
