what factory is required to make medical supplies?

food/chem or equipment?

Food & Chem. Same as the Tool you use to craft your meds.

Hmmm I used a general Crafting tool to create my schematic and then a Food and Chemical Factory to build. is ng a General Crafting tool the reason why my stims suck soo bad?

Yeah, I think using a generic crafting tool on anything doesn't allow you to experiment on it, which means in order to get the best effect you need a food/chem tool next to a food/chem station and experiment there.

Food and chemical tool is needed to build certain items that don't show up on general crafting tools. stims Bs I think fall under this category. You sometimes need a food and chemical crafting Station, like when you want to make stim Cs. Your resources are the only thing that can change the quality of your products. If you have low quality stuff you there's not a lot you can do about it.

Can't experiment with a General tool either, thing should say 'Fisher-Price' on the side of it.


Rather than hunting down a crafting station +42 or whatever and paying a fortune, invest your credits in a Med Droid with the highest Med Use rating you can find (110 is the highest -- equivalent to being in a hospital) that contains a Food & Chemical crafting station. You can craft anything, anywhere you can call the droid, and what's more, your meds will hit for full value in the field, just like you were in the hospital. More heals = more XP, it's a very worthy investment.


I have an old R5 with a 55 chip and a F&C that got me to Doctor, I recently upgraded to a R3 (R3 is the best/most capable astromech) with 110 med, F&C station, data storage and item storage.
