Just wondering everyone's thoughts. I set up a shop a long time ago outside of Theed, with the idea it was the fastest port in the galaxy (no wait on shuttle). Oh ya, I'm a rebel
Now that Theed will be an imperial stronghold, and I love the idea of fighting in a war, I'm moving shop. Are you?

Hehe, i have my vendor in our guilds cosy little Outlet mall outside of the mining outpost on dantooine, not much GCW too worry about around those parts.
And the fact that i went neutral when i stopped PvPing and went chef also lessens the worries

I was a staff sergeant for the Rebels, but just resigned due to the massive over kill of times that just out surveying or driving around, i would get knocked off my bike and searched, declared and usually ganked trying to get back to a recruiter to become covert again.
Just a bunch of wasted time running around making sure im safe lol, imps dont have to worry about the pesty groups of reb's waiting to search and kill em lol.
The GCW sounds great, but the searching everyday gets very very old. lol.

I'm a Rebel and my shop is outside of Coronet, just like 203473 others. I'm hoping that some people clear out of there a bit so that I can put down another factory near my shop. I'm too lazy to place my factory far away.

I'm diversified in 4 locations right now, but was planning on consolidating into one major location in the short term (to save my sanity) ... until I heard about this. Now I will probably keep the multiple locations due to their "strategic" value and redecorate them according to the local forces. For example, a Victory and No Division poster in my Theed shop will make it fit in more with the occupying Imperial forces.
I like to add just a dash of role-playing every now and then.

May be moving to neutral city that everyone can use.
My alt is a rebel till he dies, but he has nothing to do with the business. The fish stays out of the war, he just cooks.

I'm out of the way on Dantooine, so I'll stay where I am. I may take some people up on their offers to branch out, but that all depends on whether I want to put in the time to craft that much food. I'm a basically a non-practicing rebel, so my faction hasn't ever made any difference, lol.

My shop is near Theed and I'm very Imperial. If Naboo becomes Rebel, I'll just help the Imperials win it back again

A lot of people moved when the last big GCW patch went through a long time ago only to be disappointed. They tried to move back but someone had already filled their lot. Place a personal harvestor down where your business is now in case you change your mind because there is no going back once the space is taken.

Well the point isn't if you are in near a Starport City that is alligned with your faction.
The POINT is, GCW makes Coronet and Theed conflit places, and reduces player traffic to shops since many are combatant, and you can't walk into opposite towns unbuffed.
I *might* move my shop to a neutral starport so all costumers are free to access.

On the other hand, these conflict spots may be good for PvP food & drink especially if you're close by. I'm less than 1km from both Coronet and Theed and think that this will actually increase sales more than hurt them. The regular joe player who is neutral won't be deterred by the faction fighting at all (so their business flowcan continue),but the back and forth conflict over the citymeans more food & drink being purchased by combatants and special forces.
Of course if faction fighters want to safely shop, I have 2 other shops in less contested areas for their convenience.
