Thread: Is it just me, or do sub components do absolutely nothing to impact quality?
I have been expirimenting on different things, and here is what I have found. No matter what you put into a sub component, i.e. Dough, Starshine Suprise, Soypro, Sullisten GIn, etc. It will do absolutely nothing to the outcome of the higher food made with them.
I have tried it with Tatooine Sunburn. I ahve used the absolute worst components I could find on the SS suprise, and I get the same results as when I use 800+ components. The only determining factor on it seems to be the reactive gas in the main combine.
Same thing with Veghash, Ormachek, Breath of heaven and flameout. Is this intended?

By level of alchohol what do you mean? Most things that require alchohol require factory made. And you lose all expirimentation. How would you increase it?

ve been testing this, but have yet to get any type of difference in the way things turn out. Doesnt matter what type of alcohol I use. Any suggestions?
All my experience is that subcomponent quality does have a big effect on the end result, with the exception being edible subcomponents (starshine and veghash), which have no effect. For a very very obvious experiment, try making Bantha Blaster with Kylessian Fruit Distillate vs. plain alcohol. With plain alcohol, it has a negative effect to focus, but with premium alcohol that effect tends to be positive for me (+20).
