Wow. Today, while serving up drinks in the Bestine cantina, some imperial tipped me 10,000 credits out of the blue. I promptly asked him if it was a mistake. He said "Nope. I did it because you're the only chef I've ever seen"... Which made me feel super special and whatnot. Offered him a few free Sunburns, but he declined.

anyway, what kind of good tips have other chefs out there gotten?

No matter how much I advertise Tatooine sunburn, the far and away favorite has been the Jawa Beer. I rename it to Jawa Mountain Fortress Reserve, and charge a little more. Quite a few patrons walk up to the bar and just ask for a beer. Of course, I try to upsell them, but in the end, they usually walk off happily with a JMFR...

i rename Alcohol to "Can of Budweiser" and get lots of sales..hahahahahhaa

I got a factory the other day

And I get a lot of free organic resources from people too... which is excellent.

I rename my food to funny names like "Fuzzy Mindblowing Pickles" and "A1 Drenched Ribeye" and people LOVE it. I've heard from other chefs on my server that people are asking THEM to make stuff and they give them the names of MY food LOL... very confusing but most of the prominent chefs know my site and go there to reference the names.

I've never recived any cash tips.... just sales.

Though people always are giving me LOTS of little stacks of meat.....

I do the opposite, I tip WITH food or drink. I just had a master surgeon fix me up last night, so I tipped him a few stacks each of Mind-on-fire (Durindfire), Mind Elixir (Charde), and Medic Mind Juice (Ruby Bliel). He was quite impressed.

ruby bile and jawa beer aren't chef schematics. sure they're nice to make when you only have novice chef and need a change from wastril/meatlump/charde.

can you consume alcohol now? when I got novice chef, I couldn't consume alcohol...but I accidentally ate carbosyrup last nite...so can you eat components now??

Oh, and I usually get 100-1000 credit tips...but 10,000...wowie!

I got tipped a small house and 70,000 credits start up capital from a client who regularly bought my goods off the bazaar. He said it was to help support the only person trying to be a chef on Rori. Now I can concentrate on working up to chef instead of runningso manymissions to maintain everything!!

I renamed the Blob cany Pseudo-Newbie Melon and put a little story in the description how it was for those who came on after the melon nerf. I couldn't give blob candy away, I tried renaming it Ilanna's Sweet Nougat, but a friend of mine was the only person who bought form me(They felt sorry for me)but Pseudo-newbie melon flies off the shelves. one guy even bought some off the bazaar, then ran over to my shop to buy up the rest. Course, it was the cheapest thing I had up, so I suspect it was for his pets, but hey, I'll take what I can get

My favorite is when people don't pay with money, they pay with REALLY GOOD GUNS. I don't even USE these guns, but I feel like a poker player when these people say, 'Crud! No creds on me! Can I pay with this supped up rifle'. Heh..these poor drunkards..gotta get their fix.

One of my favorite customers gave me 30,000 credits, just cos I hapenned to be in a fix at the time... he told me I need only ask if I need more, but I dont think I'll abuse his generosity Then again, I'm not just his chef... I serve as a general encyclopedia of weird knowledge, like "How do I find an infinite source of jedi's" or "What can I do with this weapon component" and weird stuff like that... I guess I just learn a lot from playing this silly game too much

*sigh* I have not gotten one tip. Only payment for food. Bah - good thing for friends or I wouldn't even know where to begin to get houses and factories! You lucky peoples!!!

I'm gonna rename ALL MY STUFF just to get an emotion out of these players...maybe I'll go imported with the Jawa...anyone for a Black and Tan?
