Thread: What Chef Resource did you use your vet reward on? (A LIST)

Hey all, I'm trying to get an idea of what resources people may have chosen to pick up with their veteran reward resource deed for chef? I myself am still undecided as to which would be best. I know every server is different but it's still nice to know, and judging from other posts on the board... one list might be a good thing to have...

I'm confused about how this 30k thing works. Can you get any resource that's *ever" spawned on the server? Or just a resources that is currently spawning? And do you already have to have some of it before you can get the rest? (e.g. do you have to put a unit of milk in to get 30K units of milk out?)
I'd go test it myself but I'm terrified I'll screw it up and end up with 30k units of something I don't want.

It is any existing resource. That means that you can choose any resource in the database. As long as there is at least 1 unit in somebody's inventory, it is available for you to choose. You don't need to have any in your inventory to pick that resource.

I've used one and I used it to get:
Kefae, Naboo Domesticated Milk
1000 OQ
995 PE
498 FL
460 DR
Milk seemed like the most sensible choice.

Wanted to make some +89 BSNs with this stuff and see what kindabrandy I could pull out.
I think I probably should have used it for something I can sell, like rare insect meat or somethin

i got the best avian spawn ever on chimaera and sold it for 7 million (used both chars and got 14million)
then bought 100k of haboh rori vegetable fungi for 10cpu

I used mine for WS resources 
Flora/creature resources for food are so... consumable. I just couldn't see blowing a one-time-only reward on something that would go into a single run of food and be gone.

I can't decide hehe...I'm torn between uber insect meat or uber milk...any thoughts?

it kinda depends... i mean... you can get far more uber insect meat than uber milk...
i have 700k of uber insect meat, so i went for the milk, cause that's always been a pain to get hold of. Especially in good quality.
I mean... check out this Blue Milk:

In pvp, this will be highly effective for those who can't heal mind. But when it's a matter of death... or not being able to drink a brandy in 20 minutes... there's really no choice. Have several guildies already screaming for this.
