Greetings,
I picked up a Mandalorian Wine schematic today via an auction on our forums. Paid WAY too much for it, but what the heck.
Mandalorian Wine for those not aware is a drink buff to your Constitution/Stamina/Willpower. The schematic is looted from the Death Watch Bunker and Master Chef is needed to access it. Once you "learn" it you have the skill, it's not limited use.
Just playing with it tonight with what resources I had laying around I came up with two quick versions.
Version 1
Standard fill. Base fill was 64 with whatI had to work with. Using my 12 pts in Nutrition and Duration I came up with +1,009 for 9m 45s. So 6 use, 64 fill, +1,009 Constitution/Stamina/Willpower for 9m 45s.
Version 2
50 Fill Version. Actually it came out at 49 fill. I experimented down fill from 64 to 49. Jumped from 51 to 49, I was only looking for a 50 on that (before people ask why I went to 49!). Anyway, this version came out at +869 for 7m 34s at 49 fill. Going from 64 to 49 didn't leave many other points left over. But again, this was with stuff I had laying around. I can improve my Wild Rice significantly once I do some digging in storage. Most of my other stuff was pretty good. (I just realized..I used a medium BE additive, 87, in this...can it take a heavy? I didn't even check.....).
Input? Of those of you who have this schematic, does it sell? What version are you selling? How are people using it?
Frankly, after making it, I don't see people rushing to grab it off my shelves...but I could be wrong.
Thanks for any input or suggestions.

Well, I can't really comment on the salability of it (haven't gotten my hands on a schematic yet), but one thing I can help with:
Mando wine should be able to take a heavy additive (at least from the descriptions chefs have posted to the forums). So with a 117 Nanonutrient instead of an 87 BSN, your 64 fill would've been +1170 and your49 fill Wine would be around +1008.

Actually, I pulled a bonehead noob and used a medium +87 when it should have used a +117 heavy. I only even just thought of that when I posted above and had to go back into game to take a look. Been so long since I have learned any new schematics I just had it in my head that it took a medium.
Ok, so now I crafted these with the same approach as above but using the correct BE additive.
Standard fill of 64 with my resources. +1,171 Constitution/Stamina/Willpower for 9m 12s.
49 Fill version. +1,019 Constitution/Stamina/Willpower for 7m 24s.
Again, these were first passes and done quick just to see what was possible.
Input is appreciated.

I don't have the schematic yet, but I've seen a lot of people asking for 50 fill wine on Eclipse. The vast majority of my customers are very aware of the values of lower filling foods vs the higher buffs. If I were to stock it, I'd definitely be making the <= 50 fill variety.

That about exacltly the batch that I had made. Odds did me a favor and made me a schem a long time ago so I could give someone a special Wedding drink.
I do not see it selling fast on Chilly, but i don't really market it big time since I only made 20 crates in the first place.
I think you go the numbers right, or maybe up the duration a bit and drop power to 990 or so.
I'm still looking for a schem, we have had 3 or 4 on chilly, and one of the chefs took 2 of them!! ![]()

i bought the schematic for 3 mill within the first few days of the DWB opening, i can say that i made a FULL run of this stuff twice, 50 fill, +800ish, 8 minutes roughly.
I sold on crate of 10, and 5 singles after 3 months sitting on my vendor, i eventually let it expire since i didnt even think it was worth my time to relist it lol, plus i needed the space cause i was a non master merchant at the time

Well, I listed the singles I made to test this stuff out, even the screwed up ones using the medium BE additives, and they all sold off my vendor overnight! ha ha! So go figure.
I paid $10.1 million at auction on my server for this schematic. Worth it? ha ha, not a chance. Going to recoup my money? Doubtful. But we don't get many new and exciting things as a chef, so having one new schematic and at least a bit of excitement fora day or two in game was probably worth it.
I will probably run a dozen crates or so. Using 6 alcohols per wine makes factory runs a bit cumbersome. 40 crates of alcohol (a full run) with 1,000 alcohol will generate 166 wine or just over 6 crates. 6 crates is not much stock. I am going with the 49 fill option as it gives more options for folks.

I've been selling at a nice pace my +1046 / 6m56s / 49 fill / 6 uses. I made one batch of +904 / 8m48s / 49 fill / 6 uses and it sold out, but the +1046 version sold out faster so that's all I've been making lately. Used +118 for both of these flavors. I sell it for 225k/crate and also put a few singles out there @ 9K for the curious to try. Average number per week is about 10 cases right now, which isn't that fast compared to brandy or ahrisa, but knocks the socks off of my ormachek sales
Of your two versions, definitely go with the 49 fill version.
Good luck,
Dular

I would concur with the general consensus.
Filling is critical for the stacking, so a double shot of wine and vercupti makes for a really annoying PVP opponent...for 7-9min.
After that....

The important thing in this is that you have to remember that it's a drink. And any drink has to compete with the drink of all drinks... BRANDY!
Getting people convinced that taking 1 Mando wine instead of 1 Brandy isn't easy. The veteran players have found out the benefits of this.
And since they are veterans, they know that they'll need at least 1 regular brandy as well. Making the 50% fill critical.
If it's any higher, they're going to be left with xx% unused drink filling... which won't give them max amount of bonuses.
Mando whine is mostly used in 1 on 1's in Stackervs Jedi and such. Where mindregeneration in general plays a critical role for the stacker.
Mando whine is highly effective in that kind of battles, because the battle will be over before the 7-ish minutes duration of the Mando Wine is out.
However this is still a product that you won't sell much of. Plain and simple. Think of it as a service to your customers. You DO have it, if they want it.
My current stock is:
50% Fill
+1024 Contitution/Stamina/Willpower
7:00 Duration
6 Uses
I sell maybe a crate(25) or 2 a month. I only stock it on the special vendor.

Thanks for the comments all.
Looks like my current version is going to be:
Mandalorian Wine +1,019 for 7m 34s, 49 FILL, 6 uses per.
I have crates running in the factory now.
I appreciate all the input. I will report back if sales are brisk, but I am not counting on it! ha ha!
Back to the kitchen I go

Reading the stats here, I think the batch of +1079, 7:18 mins, 49% fill, 6 uses is pretty good
And i used more or less crappy rice, only 400ish PE
