My new place is notthat far, just hop a ship from Theed to Rori, then a quick shuttle to Liberty, a short 300m dash and your at theCantina 
But I will have the Samples vendorin the Dant Shopfor a wile you can drop off on it as long as its still there

It varies, especially with a lot of players quitting or changing profs.
I picked up a +3 tape last week for 1.5 million. That's a bit of a drop, experimentation tapes have historically been running roughly 1mill per point on my server. I boughta +8 belt a few months ago for roughly 12 million, plus around 3 million in trade items (crates of food, a woven rug, and an x-wing mini).
You'll want to start with a chef crafter's apron, that gives you +5 assembly/experimentation and usually runs between 100-300k.
