I've been playing SWG since it was released. I loved it. Even the California wild fires couldn't drag me away from the computer. I have spent countless hours developing my character. But this new patchedhas really screwed my way of playing the game. It has left me wondering, "Is it time to cancel my account?" Should I really be forced to group when I don't want to? I love to solo, I am able to take whatever missions and complete them at my own leisure without wondering if the guy/girl on the other end is getting bored to death. When the new patch came out I was all excited about the new vehicles, but when I tried calling out my pets I was in for a major dissappointment. I had Malkloc, dewback, brackaset, and a bore (forget whattype). I enjoyed leveling up in each creature I could tame. I guess it all comes down to, do I want to learn how to play the game in a different way, only to have them nerf that too. Or just move on...

Do others feel this way? Should we in effect stage a walk out? In my opinion the fun factor has been greatly reduced.

Cause

New patch, no stocks of new foods, Most popular item (fishak)replaced with even better item (brandy)

Effect

Demand for brandy goes through the roof, Some chefs raise prices to insane levels

Cause

Overinflated prices lead to buyers flustration with the chef community, BE want more profit from there 5 mins of work from all chefs (including those respectible ones that do not insanely price the brandy) This in turn, makes it nearly impossible to make any food item with BE enhancements due to cost per use, the community realizes there is a large supply void in the market and start grinding chef to cash in on this quick profit market.

Effect

Flood of new chefs enter the picture, brandy market becomes flooded. Brandy rots on the shelf because 140 hoursof buff time will last an average player oh a 1-2 weeks. Everyone tries to make other foods to compensate for lost income from brandy but the market is remains saturated with chefs at least for a while.

Ladies and gentlemen, I hope this doesnt play out, but when I saw brandy selling on my server for 375k a crate for +370 18 use I was quite pissed. Not only was itINSANELY priced, but it is poor quality BE brandy.I dont care how many e-mails you have with people waiting to by brandy, but if you are charging over 200k for this stuff you are ripping your customers a new *****. I pay 50cpu for meats and I know I am making a profit at 150k and alarge profit at 200k. Those of you that are charging that insaneprice, lets hope your gouging will not turn this scenario I have describedabove into a reality. You are only hurting yourself and everyone else in teh long run.

its a low buff but what was its duration? I make two types of brandy both same filling (50) and quantity (18), but the duration and buff are different, I prefer #1:

+387 MWF for 45 min

or

+401 for 40 min

I dont know why, but I just dont like pushing out a product who's duration cannot outlast digestion, but some people wanted a 400+ buff so I made it. Most though, prefer the duration.

It was 40 min duration, This is sort of off topic to the point of my post though (which I feel is something we all need to consider or we are all going to be downsizing our business), but the batches I have made have been +417, 34min, 50, 21 usages. I thought the stomach timer was 30 mins is that not correct? If it isnt then WHEN did it get changed!?!?!. When I was using it I did notice a few mins where I could not be double buffed though, thought it was just a goof or bug with the timer.

Stomache digestion is currently bugged. The devs said in TC that it would be 30 min, but somehow when it went live it is really 45 min or roughly 2.2 filling digested per minute. So two brandies would take 45 minutes to digest and be able to take again right after.

I have been a Jedi for only a week but I am already fed up with grinding for negative XP.

Now the point...

Bounty Hunters should face consequences of their actions.

SOE should add missions for Jedi to hunt the hunters.

Would the Jedi council just sit there while young padawans are slaughtered?

Now revenge, of course, leads to the dark side.

However if a Bounty Hunter could be captured by Jedi (5 Jedi to 1 Bounty Hunter - only fair) and have all their funds confiscated they too might experiance the glow only found from a pointless grind.

Embrace your feelings and be one with the dark side of the force.
