Hi everybody, I just finished up artisan last night and I have a few questions about chef. I read the grinding thread, but I still have some questions, I am about to place my harvetsers. I see that we need a lot of wheat. Is there a specific kind, wild or domesticated? I basically have the same questions with the fruit. Being a doctor, i am very familiar with dantooine berries. Will this choice be ok for the fruit requirement? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, should be an ingame macro to help you posted somewhere. Grind till you can't grind anymore, because we're not sure how hellish the grind will be after this upcoming patch.

There *IS* a macro posted in the guides stickied at the top. The new novice grind item is 20 exp vs the current 70 exp on the bread. We do know that. We do not know however if that will be tuned before going live.So yea, you should hurry to your nearest ithorian mist. In addition Id suggest grinding out as much of those as possible as after the patch they will require an alcohol and a container to be made to grind them.

Welcome to chef, sorry about the mess, we're in the middle of construction designed to make your experience better.

In all schematics, you can use any resource that falls under the resource type specified. So if it says "Correlian Domesticated Wheat" (like Correlian Ale), you have to use Dom Wheat from Correlia. If it says "Domesticated Wheat" you can use Dom Wheat from any planet. If it says "Wheat" you can use Domesticated or Wild Wheat from any planet...and so on up the categories listed in the survey tool (cereal, flora food, flora, organic). Dant Berries would work fine for the fruit componet in Wastril, although do you really want to grind away a specific resource type required for advanced med components?

One thing that's caught me a few times: Under the "Fruit" main category are three subcategories: berries, flowers, and...fruits (with an 's'). So if a recipe requires "Fruit" you can use any of the three. If it specifies "Fruits" you have to use the third subcategory. And if it specifies "Correlian Fruit" you have to use "Fruits" harvested on Correlia, Correlian Berries or Flowers won't show up in the resource selection. Just something to watch out for.

Ah man, did this hit me hard. Be very careful of that one, before you spend 3 hours on Corellia harvesting berries, only to find they are not considered a "Corellian Fruit"

And enjoy, there is much fun to ne had by all

Can anyone give a list of foods that are not worth bio enhancing? I would hate to waste money by enhancing stuff that has little to no effect.

Currently I only have nutrient enhancers, any suggestions of foods that should be used with a different type of enhancement?

Thanks
