Thread: Higginsis are you out there, you've not even posted in this forum for a week......
I have not posted in some time either, but that doesnt mean I am not here.....
Higginsis has been on these boards for a long time. Everyone has busy weeks. I have known him through these forums long enough to know that he is most certainly representing us well, and that if he ever DID stop having the desire to represent, he would step down immediately.
Besides, I think you have an exaggerated perspective on how much power correspondents really have. Kriles could tell you, but he is far too mature and non-drama oriented to do so. Many of the other ex-correspondents have NOT been so quiet however. Correspondents are our representatives, but the developers and CSRs are in no way accountable to them for any answers. A smart Correspondent will continue to voice the issues with his/her profession in a well spoken manner, and only really push when he needs to.
As the Chef profession stands right now, we have a very viable business. People are figuring out food more and more every day, and as playstyle changes from the old ways to the new our foods will come to greater use. Yes, we have issues. MANY ISSUES. But the focus of the devs is on slightly more dire issues in other aspects of the game at the moment. We arent being ignored, we are in line. All will be well, and Higginsis is doing everything he can. ![]()
I'm not ignoring the boards by any means, i'm here everyday and read every post, but i'm not going to post on threads that have had their questions, answered, just for the sake of it.
Okay, any idea when we might see fixes.
We can't just let them shoestring us along as they have smugglers for 2 years.
Every profession has some issues, and most have at least one or two serious ones. We need an idea of when the devs plan to address them.
The devs are aware of our issues, and TH has said he's passed them on, its a waiting game i'm afraid.
- Short duration stuff like pyro, corellian ale
- dmg mitigation stuff working for seconds instead of # hits
- almost identical stuff like thak/citros snow
- bliel disappearing after heals instead of its duration
If all of these things were intended, I'd be OK... a little annoyed, but OK.But I refuse to make any of them except for special orders until I whether or not I would be selling something that's bugged. So every order for one of these that I get is responded to in a rather lengthy reply describing all of the stupid "bugs" surrounding them to make sure the customer knows they suck.
Its bugging me as much as anyone, but there's no use getting angry and shouting, as that won't get us the answers quicker.
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but the devs know of the problems, so its just a case of waiting.
