Where do I get the resource milk from? I was trying to make some Jaar and it said I needed mild. Do I have to go the cantina and buy a whole bunch of it or what?

The milk you buy at the cantina is basically "blue milk", not the milk resource you can craft with. And drinks from NPC bartenders have no stat bonuses, it's strictly for roleplaying. A good thing, too; if customers could get effective Sunburns for 50 credits, most chefs would go out of business.

The milk resource is a random loot item right now. Some NPCs (although I've only heared high-level ones likeNightsisters having them)and debris fields in the "sludge panther city" on Talus occasionally have milk.

Hadn't heard the Nightsister's trashcan one. More lootable debris, I'm assuming?

That's kinda' stupid if you ask me. What they ought to do is put cows in the game or something.

I figure that after the patch all chefs will be cows and the BEs and CHs will be chasing after us to milk us... hrmm maybe its bed time.

You know, nerfs (as in nerf herders, not changes to abilities) are supposed to be a domestic, cowlike creature with the smell and temperment of a camel.

Maybe they could put in a "farmer" profession, one tree of which allows you to keep nerfs and avians to get milk and eggs, and gets you the title "nerf herder"?

Other abilities could include a way to "engineer" up better meat and other organics the way BE's engineer pets... etc... could be really fun!

oooh can I get my very own nerf? errmm wait, I think Ive had some of those already, nevermind.

where can i get the heavy z95, and do i need rotw?

heavy noobs are crafted by shipwrights, I don't know about the second part. I'm assuming there isno easy way to limit those to RotW only, so go for it. Unfortunately, you'll need to find a mining SW who sells them, since people are saying you DO need RotW to mine, so getting your own asteroid resource is out.
