I am considering going a full time crafter with a BE/Chef template and I was wondering after you get on your feet how much you make per week in credits after expenses? I know alot of it depends on how much work you put into it and also the markets on the servers differ but I just wanted to get a feel for if it was worth it before I jumped in. The main reason I want to be a crafter? Simple I love being a Merchant but Ive never wanted to grind out the experience because I think it would give me carpal tunnel, now with respec I can come do something I love. Any pointers would also be welcome and if there are any Chef's located on Bria that would like to take on a apprentice I would pay a percentage of my profits for a period of time to learn from one. Thanks.

It takes tons of resources and even more dedication to make it as a successful chef. The CU has made the artisan foods way more desirable than Master Chef foods and drinks so being a merchant you might want to just go that route. That way you can offer a variety of items like swoops and repair kits as well as the more sought after edibles. If you are human, you get+15 to artisan experimentation because of your race so with an additional +25 artisan experimentation attachments, you can become a +14 Point Artisan, the best possible. Even without the points, the products will sell as long as you don't overprice.

If you have a BE to make schems for you, its a very large margin, if not, its a little slimmer.
Also it depends how much resources you mine yourself. Mining good resources yourself costs less than 1 cpu, as opposed to buying resources for 5, 10 or sometimes 20 cpu.
