Thread: Farms Bugged?
The reason why you will never see a Flora Farm bigger than a personal is this: Architechs are missing a Harvesting Mechanism required for the larger Flora Farms. They try to use the schematic in their crafting tools and get nothing but "waiting for schematic to download". I wish SO much they would fix this. Personal Flora Harvesters are a waste of maintence, power, and I can dig by hand 4x as much.
I really hope they will be fixing the harvesters soon.

Because till they fix something, you'll just be a distraction though up by the devs to keep us from a full scale riot. But once they fix the stuff on your list you will go from distraction to god.
Potillan is absolutely right.
If you read between the lines in the first "In Dev" notes by Q, the developers are quite capable of finding bugs by in-game tickets and assessing balance through statistics logged.
So Potillan is absolutely right in his/her assessment.
"But, the professions correspondents will change every month?!"
This is one of the smartest moves SOE has made in SWG to date. Profession correspondents in other games retain their title as long as they fulfill their duties. This creates an environment where no matter how hard a Profession Correspondent tries to have an issue addressed, they are still blamed by the masses for the lack of a developer response. The best illustration of this are the Dark Age of Camelot boards on the IGN network. No matter what class board you choose to frequent, the banner thread is one telling the community to be nice to their Profession Correspondent. SOE took notice of this and have made it where there are no sacrificial lambs. No matter how hard someone works, they can't get it all fixed in a month. No matter how little someone works, they will be gone in a month. Thus, SOE believes they can make a stronger community if their community doesn't have a player's face.
The only flaw with this system is that many players are taking matters into their own hands. Myself and many others I have spoken to do not use these forums as a way of expressing how we feel about the balance or legitimacy of a certain profession. I write in-game tickets for every balance issue with my class that I come across. The response I get is a joy that I percieve to last more than a month:
"CSR - I cannot change the status of that item/skill, but I am forwarding your thoughts onto the developers for evaluation. Thank you for playing Star Wars: Galaxies."
