Thread: Tastes great, less filling!
I don't know if this will offer any encouragement to you folks or not, but it made me very happy. In fact, I'm so happy, I almost don't think chefs need as much fixing as I thought they did earlier.
I reached novice chef a few days ago, and in addition to making wastril bread for xp, etc., I've also been eating the things I make myself and forcing food on friends. By so doing, I learned something interesting: chef foods digest significantly faster than artisan foods. I haven't checked it with a stopwatch or anything, but I promise you, it is a noticeable difference.
This potentially makes chef foods more useful even when they have a smaller unexperimented buff than Domestic Arts IV recipes. I don't know if this was an unannounced fix because I haven't been a chef for long, but it certainly changed my views of the chef profession.
Have others made a similar observation?
