Thread: An experimentation question regarding charges

So I did my first serious deal of experimenting today in order to produce a schematic for my factories. I was working with tatooine sunburns. I thought that the volume indicated the number of charges, but so far the volume is always 1. I created several prototypes and got charges between 3 and 7. I noticed that when I got the quantity up to 49% it gave me5 charges on the prototype, and when I got it up to 69%, it gave me 7 charges. I thought that the percentage determined the charges with a max number of charges being 10. 49% is closest to 50, thus 5 charges, 69% is closest to 70, thus 7 charges. However, when making the Starshines, I noticed that the experimental quantity was 29%, making me think that it would yield 3 charges, but instead there were 5. Is there any way to determine the number of charges before making a schematic without having to create a prototype first?

Try making food. It's different for every recipe, but food at least tells you how many uses you're getting as you experiment, drinks don't. For now...
