In a resource, what does PE affect for the food and what does flavor affect for the food?

DR - Filling

FL - Duration of the buff (or amount of attacks on some foods)

PE - Nutrition Value (buff power etc)

Make sure you look at your schematics to see what % are rolled in on each stat. In most Nutrition cases its 66% PE and 33% OQ

Another quality question. What do you do to ensure thatyouringredientsare top quality? Do you go from planet to planet surveying for different ingredient types? Do you do this with harvestors in tow? Does the quality of your product really just come down to the BE additive you use? What is usually the variance of quality when using ingredients with +900 vs ingredients that are significantly lower, say 100's?

Thanks

Foxana:

www.swgcraft.com is the place to check resource stats. And it's player maintained, so don't forget to sample a couple units of something not listed and upload some data.

As for quality, the stats on the resources you use directly determine the maximum experimental percentage, and the starting percentage appears to be a constant fraction of the maximum (it looks like between 1/4th to 1/5th the max).

So if you used resources with 900 in all the pertinent stats, you could experiment up to 90% and would start at around 20%. If you used resources with 100 in all the contributing stats, you could only experiment up to 10% and would start around 2%.

How big of a difference the experimental percentages make depends on the food's stat range for that category. So Accaragm has a buff range of +150 to +240. At 10% Nutrition, the buff is 159. At 90% Nutrition the buff is 231. Compare that to Bivoli's quantity: apparantly that's always 2when Quanity is less than 50%, 3 once you get over 50%.

The BE additives are all percentage increases to the foods' stats determined by the foods' experimentation, so the better the base food/drink is the bigger bonus you'll get. Using a +80 Broad Spectrum Nutrient on a 10% Nutrtion Accaragm (+159) would give a final buff of 159 * 1.80 = +286. Using the same BSN on a 90% Nutrition Accaragm (+231) would give a final buff of 231 * 1.8 = +415.
