I am going to become a chef, and want to open a brewery. I was just wondering what drink do you think is the best?

Really depends what you want to buff. But the best seller is Vasarian Brandy, it buffs all three pools of the mind.

Can you get drunk in the game? Will that give you penalties in combat?

No, not really (although EQ had/has that, doesn't it?) There is a "/drunk" mood which adds some "slurs drunkenly" text to what you sayand maybe a change to your character's idle animation, but it has no connection to whether or not you've actually drunk anything. And it gives no penalties to combat, skills, or stats.

no you can't get drunk from drinking alcohol. You can set your mood to drunk, but it is just for a bit of roll playing

You can try blue milk. It's instant mind heal, but it has a filling, so alot of people don't like it.
I think blue milk is only meant for emergency, use it when you're low on mind and needed mind, it is not to be used as stims, I've tried during fight, and it saved me from incap, so i like it.

Thanks for the info. Blue milk, Hmm cool.
Is there a list of the drinks that can be made that I could reference, online or in-game, that would show what they buff? I know I will see them once I have the skills to make them.

I think they should bring Rhyscate back as like a 75 mind healing... low filling Food. Wouldnt that be cool
