I think he was raised by wolves and the other pups stole food away from him constantly. Hence the Bothan chef thing. . .

Sarly:

Nope, just an incredibly geeky person.

SirVimes:

Close, but about 5 years off. Not in college anymore, but I do work in software development/testing. Just don't tell my boss how much time I spend on the forums during work hours.

Ah, well...you would be right if you did I am not the most analytical of people.

Nah, what I think I brought to the table was good communicaiton skills and the ability to put my own agendas aside and concentrate on what the community wanted.

/hug back.

I am,having a working Java program is a metric for an"achievement goal" to demonstrate I've learned Java for work. :rolleyes. Although convincing my boss that a crafting calculator for an online game qualified was pretty slick on my part (mainly because no work-related applications were available).

As for the username....

Well, my name isn't Bill, but I share my last name with afamous (?maybe, haven't seen him for a while) "science guy". So I've been using the handle "sciguy" on message boards for years. station.com apparently already had someone else using that name (or I had signed up for it long ago and forgotten) so I tacked on "CO" which is the state I'm in.

To be honest, that CO suffix is starting to bug me, but apparently there's no way to change your forum username. Feel free to drop it off, "sciguy" must be posting to other station boards, nothing shows up for him in SWG.
