Am I the only one who is excited about this change? Finally, we can put our foods on tables and not just the floor!

Until they fix the /eat bug I'm not puttin food anywhere. Using the ledge trick I managed to decorate most of our lower level tables in our cantina with all sorts of food and drink. A week later it was all gone, eaten by people who don't have admin just because they can. Heck most the food was trash food, just put there to look cool, still gone.

Should I be reporting this as a chef bug or architect or what? I know a lot of people know about it, never seen any petitions to get it fixed...

I actually like this "feature", it allows me to encourage entertainers to play my cantina by leaving accarragm on the stage for them.

Me too. I've been too stingy with my lots to get a house with a staircase. Of course, now I have to go shopping for tables.

I have yet to figure out what the actual point of the /eat command is. I mean, are there a lot of people who want to get a food buff but can't spare a single inventory slot to pick it up? Maybe for roleplaying a buffet table or something...

I'd call it an house admin bug. /eat should have the same restrictions as picking up an item: if you're not allowed to take items from the house, why in god's name should you be able to use items laying around? If you could use someone else's holocron sitting on a table, this would be fixed immediately.

Hahah!

Whoa, I was TOTALLY unaware of this /eat thing! I have some samples on a display table like some of you... none of it ever disappeared. Guess I have been lucky. Hope they fix this though, my luck has a habit of running out....

Hehehe, that's kinda funny, I had no idea about that bug. I have had some simple food items as decoration in my house forever, never touched.

Hmm are you sure about the "eat" bug? We have had food in our cantina since player cities came out, never once has any be eaten.

Why can't you? That is the whole point of this.

Isn't collision turned on with the cantina bar? So you can't just walk into it, drop the food/drink at the point you want it, and /move up 5. But can you drop something next to it, "/move up 5" and "/move forward 5"? Or does the game count that the same as trying to move an item into a wall?
