Thread: What BE additives work in Vasarian Brandy?

I've been told that Broad Spectrum Nutrients work in Vasarian Brandy. Last night I bought 500k worth and when I went to try to craft some brandy, the additive said it couldn't be used in making Brandy. Is this a bug or did I buy the wrong thing??

You mixed it with water to make medium additives first, right?

maybe that's what I did wrong, but how do I do this? when I read the description of the BSNs it says they're medium additives.

BSNs go into medium additives. If you check the schematic listing in your food/chem crafting tool, in the "components" category at the top you should have "Light Additive" and "Medium Additive" (and Heavy if you've hit Master). Pick "Medium Additive", and it requires 15 water and a "medium biological food component" (which BSN qualifies as). Put those together and you get an actual food additive (with the same bonus as the BSN) that can be included in any food with a medium or heavy additive slot.

Also....to answer your post in another way....
There are 4 types of BE Tissue you can use in brandy...theyare:
Hyper Yeast Concentrate - increases quantity 200-300%
Multisaccharide Tetramate - increases flavor 30-50%
Broad-spectrum Nutrients - increases nutrition 60-90%
Caloric Conversion Supplement - reduces filling 15-20%
