Thread: Considering the non-stackability of HAM related foods.....

Would the developers consider expanding the range of skill based foods to bring in a bit more variety that we're all use to?

A player asked me today if there is a food/drink that increases attack speed, where i'm sure there isn't. He pointed out to me that the new expansion RotW has a quest that drops such a food and that he would be interested in buying it if we can make them.

Perhaps, we could sort of make a list of "new" skill based foods that would be interesting to that end.

I would certainly like to see the old EQ style "drunkeness" effect in the game when drinking (applicable to all alcoholic drinks of course) for a roleplaying aspect. I think that would sell even if it had no buffs associated with it, just for the fun factor.

Remember that variety is a dirty word in SWG 2. Making players able to differentiate their equipment or skills in any meaningful way (ie. not just skinning it) might be considered an exploit now.

Can't agree. Food is still very useful in fights (healing bonus, dodge, defences, accuracy, damage mitigation, stimpack roundtime, etc) - sj filling is a good limiting factor.

I use food/drinks with my combat toon always - and very pleased with results. I't easy as hell to fill stomach full with it. So, I plan carefuly forehead.

i only use it in important pvp like bh encounters or in the frs. for pve there is just no need unless you are taking the bigger mobs like the jedi npc's or krayts.

Well, it's a matter of playstyle and weapon chosen. As Carabineer I need that +200 (Aacagraam) or +184 (Blob Candy) buff for any Lvl >80 hunt (Gurk Kings, Woolamanders, Night Sisters). Especially for I have to play solo a lot, when most of the Guild is still asleep

And Crispics and Air Cackes worth little money, but provide good bonus to survive.
