Yeah considering bantha butter takes 20 milk per unit, and some dessert recipes require 2 identical bantha butter (meaning you have to make a factory schematic too), it would take 60 milk of the same type just to make a sample. With milk so rare, and the type shifting so often, it will be a long time till we find out what these foods look like.

I hope when milk is "fixed" that it's available in large enough quantities to do something with. Having it be a foraged item like eggs is not going to work when factory runs are required.

Wait, what? I haven't made dough in probably two weeks cause I've been concentrating on the butt kicking side of my character rather than the cooking side of her, but ... don't TELL me they changed dough so you needed milk.

Don't even tell me!

He was incorrect, you do NOT need milk to make dough.

To clear up some misconceptions :

You can ONLY get milk in VERY small amounts as loot drops. I have NEVER had a drop despite hours farming the NPCs that are supposed to drop it.

THere are no such things as Bio Harvesters

Milk is needed in ~10% of a Chef's recipes

Bantha Butter requires 20 Domestic Milk. The most Bantha butter any recipe needs is 2 identical, not 20.

Dough does not need milk

2 of the Master Chef items cannot be made unless you are lucky enough to have a number of items disappear, and a friendly CSR that will replace the items with milk

Despite assurances that milk would be added to the game in (as in easier to get, rather than rarer than a Sith in a pink tutu), there is still no sign of us getting it.

Hehe wow and here I was all excited when I found some milk. Well, wait, I still am! But it's nice to see others have/are finding it, even if it's still rare. I really don't think it's fair that milk would be rare but... oh well =(

That's my baby! hehe Two things though: 1. I don't know what I got it off of *CRY* I about died when I realized what it was when cleaning out my pack! It looked like a grain so I'd tossed it into my grains backpack in my house... Boy was I ecstatic when I saw what it actually was! 2. It's off ENDOR =( So... getting more may not be an option... =( Although I'm going to try anyway! (Look at that OQ! 950!!)

We'd gone to Endor, a group of my PA members, to do the Maraurder armor quest (Nice armor btw) and I looted everything in case something had a segment or god knows what for our Armor/Weaponsmiths. *Something* had this... I just don't know what =( I figure it was probably an Ewok... but I'm not sure *sigh* My log wasn't on unfortunately so I can't check it to be sure (assuming it even keeps messages of what you loot, I think it just says "you loot an item").

Milk exists. it's been a raging debate as to where it came from, but the source on Tarquinas is pretty similar to that mentioned above - compensation from CSR int he form of a BIO harvestor - the kind that was around during BETA that also produced eggs and meat. Anyway, the machine's gone, and so has most of the milk. I have a decent stash of the stuff and am prepared to run some test to see what each of the respective food produscts actually do if any Chefs on Tarquinas would like to particpate. I'm not chef.

I'm a master chef on Tarq, and more than willing to help make one of everything if possible, it would be nice to finish off the stat list
