Thread: Other possible uses for food
If someone else has already thought of this, forgive me.
Right now, food is acting as a portable temporary minor buff to HAMs. We already have bigger and in many ways better HAM buffs from doctors and master entertainers.
So how about buffing something that cannot be buffed by anyone else? Skills.
That's right, have food buff things such as artisan assembly ("Building a PA Hall and worried about a critical failure, try a bite of our Artisan's Delight!"). Temporary portable SEAs.

Ok, once I buy a house, one room is going to have this. 
Now, if the devs would just give us a /moveup command and food colorization, I could make a mosaic across a wall made entirely of Wastril bread.

Other possible uses for food:
-Drinks can be used to put out annoying crafting station fires after 2 hours of Ithorian Mists. Just don't use any of the alcohol-based drinks...
-Air Cake is excellent for leveling furniture which has one leg too short.
-Use foods offensively: most of our stuff has serious drawbacks in one or more categories, especially without experimentation and high-quality ingredients. Just offer some of this "junk food"to thenearest Meatlump and watch his HAM bar disappear.
-Spell out your name in Stewed Gouch on the floor of your house.
-Use it for contests: free T'ssolok for anyone who can actually spell it correctly.
