Ok, first off let me say that I am a Bounty Hunter and not a Chef. I am trying to help one of my guild buddies who is a Chef. He just started the profession and is wanting to know how to find eggs and milk. Can I help him with this? I often go out and harvest mobs for him and other guild mates who need the meat, but the eggs and milk thing is something that so far, I can't help him with. Any answer would be helpful...thanks

Your buddy should also read these forums...milk is very very very rare. It only comes from ultra-rare drops (did I mention it was rare) and never in any amount worth considering. The only other quantity of milk i have heard of is on some server where a guy duped a CSR into compensating him with some milk.

Eggs are a bit easier to get in that if you search a lair before destroying it, you will often find an egg or two but you might also just find a "sample of some live animal" which is mostly useless right now.

Lately, all I have gotten by searching lairs is the darn live animal sample...for a couple of weeks now.

I have been able to get a decent amount of eggs, but they are not really that valuable. They are mostly used in replace of meat.

Milk is valuable....but in all the time I have been playing the game I have only been able to gather 3 units of it.

For eggs just do an egghunt. Run around and search every lair you come across. Youll get a lot of creature samples (just destroy them). Every once in a while youll get eggs. Theyll be the same resource type, but if you wait long enough the resource type will change and you wont be able to combine the new type of egg with the old one. On Bria server there was a type of Talusian egg that was high 900's in both flavor PE an OQ, decay resistance was high 700's i got about 16units then it changed. So if you find good eggs get a bunch of your PA members to go on a egg hunt.

The Devs should put in super quality eggs on Easter for a one day event.
