Thread: What is the best combo of food and drink to take right before a fight?

No chef is gonna tell you that even though they pretty much all now what the combos are. They are greedy and want you to buy creates and creates of food to test this yourself. That's why you dont see hardly any chef selling single stacks anymore they want you to buy a whole crate of it to test to make more money.
I'm sorry but I think you're a complete nub.
We don't sell single stacks as its a complete waste of space. I have had no complaints whatsoever abotu selling just crates. Crates maximise the space in your inventory for one and who wants to come back and forth buying singles? Most of my customer's are hardcore PvP and PvE players.
As for why we don't really state what the ideal combo is because we don't know!!!!!!!! There are multiple combo's out there now and due to the variety there is no way we can state that their is just one uber combo!!!!
Also I rarely fight myself (and therefore can't test) as I am almost always crafting when I am in game!! Please remeber some of us have jobs and are not at school!! With tyhe sheer amount of time it takes to craft it seems obvious from your comments that you are not a Chef!!!
You obviously want someone to gift you a "I Win" button and are bitter that no has dropped one of these in your lap.

One of these "all for me' ppl, wants to run missions and make tons of credts but thought old doc buffs overpriced at 15K(although he made 250K off of them) and thinks those foods that helped him should be sold for 500 credits.
Can't even count the times somebody complain about cost and then turned around and offered me stuff at 25cpu, and they wonder why price's are like they are.

I've got all combat professions, just looking for the best stuff to eat AND drink before I start soloing.
The stickies at top of forum are a good place to start. There is a faq that lists all foods and their effects. The difficulty in advising which are "best" is that different people want different things from their foods.
Some foods give massive buffs but only last a few minutes and are high filling, other foods give smaller buffs but last a lot longer and are less filling meaning you can eat more different foods. There are foods that buff your HAM and others that increase accuracy, healing efficiency, dodge, defense, terrain negotiation etc etc etc.
It is difficult to advise without knowing your template because for example, a Jedimay want melee accuracy, ranged defense and MR buffingfoods while a BHmay want ranged accuracy, melee defense, healing efficiency and AR buffing foods. A CH may want creature taming and mask scent foods in their combo.
There is no "one size fits all" best food combo unfortunately and as there is a restriction on how much you can eat/drink at one time it is definately a matter of personal preference.
If you begrudge people making it easier for the customer and chef by selling full crates, thats entirely your problem. On a single busy week i can make upwards of 400 crates of food, times 400 by 25, 10000 items. The vendor limit at master merchant at 7000, selling singles just isn't practical.
thats right, lure them into a false sense of security my young apprentice

There is no secret we're keeping, there is no conspiracy to keep the stacking rules from non combat people, the simple fact of the matter is we don't know how it works fully yet.

First off either you people are really dumb or think we are really dumb. It dont matter if you aremelee or ranged when it comes to health and the regen rates. We are already smart enough to know what other foods stack other then the foods that give stats and regen. I dont care about the price of the food becouse its pretty much been same same now and befor CU. And even when doc's could buff I still payed alot for foods that I needed. But back then it was whatever you could eat until you got filled up. And as far as the comment goes about not selling stacks of food thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard you can have a crate vender and a single stack vender and you still would meet everyones needs. That is why im making a chef and sorry to every other chef on ahazi and theese chef's now but I will sell single stacks and I am gonna sell my foods at only 1 credit more then I pay for resouces. There is no sence in eveyone keeping this a secret and making us pay so much for food that will not stack wit eacth other. Im not saying all chef's are bad becouse most are cool but alot of crafters these days need to wake up. Same with you loot horders so many people want so much for common items it's nuts. Flame me all you want but im only getting flamed for the truth im speaking.
I cant believe that these types of rants, that are mostly on the Jedi and BH boards, have made there way to the Chef boards.
