Thread: Are Experimentation and Assembly the only skill mods?

Fellow Chefs...


I have seen a few Tailor vendors offering "Chef" clothing, but the BE fabric used gives Augmentation and Cure efficiency skill mods. Do Chefs benefit from improved Aug/Cure numbers?


I know that these are usually Doctor skills, but I thought maybe Cure might also apply to curing foods or ingredients. Also, there is a seperate Augmentation skill from that of Medical Augmentation, so perhaps this helps with additive effect...


Can anyone help me to understand? Appreciate your help!

The reason those mods are on the clothes is because it was the most common mods pre-cu.....injury/wound treatment. This is how they converted so now they are in most of the clothes you see post-cu. As far as I know they have no effect on chef skills or the products we produceso basically they are useless unless you are a doctor.

Check the Medic / Doctor / CM skill trees. You're right, those are medic-related mods. They have no impact on Chef.
