Thread: Schematic Need Help

I'm trying to locate the right number of my draft schematic for my crafting macro.
Counting in your datapad doesn't work either...You can sort in a list or by picture and within the list you can do name/type/icon.
None of the numbers I have triedcorrelate to any ordering in my datapad.
Plz, can someone help me find how the draft schematic numbering works?

I've had to use the trial and error means of doing this. I've also noticed that every so often the DraftSchematic # changes on you....so you can not create a comfortable macro.

It used to work, and then they changed the datapad organization and screwed it all up. Thankfully, they added an option to turn off datapad/inventory auto-sorting. You'll need to make sure the option is unchecked in your options menu and then log out for it to reset. When you log back in, DO NOT REORGANIZE YOUR DATAPAD. Leave it exactly as it's shown. Start counting from 00 until you hit the schematic you want, making sure you skip over every schematic that requires something other than the tool you're using. (E.g. If you're crafting with a food and chem tool, you'll want to skip over travel packs and similar items that cannot be crafted with a food and chem tool.) I've done this several times since disabling auto-sort and it's worked just as perfectly as it did before all of the new sorting junk came into play.
