Thread: New chef here question about brandy

Im trying to make brandy, but I am unsore of what qualityies to look for in berrys and fruits...what do I look at just overall quality? Any help would be appreciated thanks

All the important information is in your datapad. It will tell you which stats of your resources are the most important (higher percentages mean that stat is more important in getting a better result in the category it's listed in). My berries and fruits for brandy have OQ and PE in the 900's as well as a good DR and FL (for qty and filling). Examine your datapad closely...it has all the answers for you.

you really need the highest OQ and PE you can get too make good selling brandy.
Dr and FL will help you get your uses and time it lasts for up too, just remember that most people like to be able to take 2 shots at once so you gotta get that filling down to 50 at least.

Also remember the positive effects BE additives give your food/drink. Most Chefs use Broad Spectrum Nano-nutrients (BSN) for that buffing bonus. If you do not, your food/drinks won't have a high "buff" stat. An example: With nice BE parts, I hit +422 for a large run of Brandy. If you cannot afford BE additives, you should watch what you charge for your food/drinks.

Also be sure to use casks for the container. small glasses only result in 7-8 doses. Casks will give you 18-21. Don't bother with barrels since they don't work.
