I have only been a chef for a couple of months now, but have managed to get up to 12pt via the help of friends. I am now struggling to make alot of good food, because I have only managed to purchase a small amount of bio components. Any of you guys know of a BE or two who are looking for another customer?
Also can I use the bio comp scehmatics that the BEs make, in a food factory without any BE skills?
And any other tips. I have spent all my hard earned creds on chef so far (about 18mil or so), and now i am almost out of cash, i need to start earning, but also make good stuff.

heres what i did. (i do have a combat toon with scout 0/0/4/0) i went out and got all the resources myself. this can be hard but first off look for high OQ wood. and i mean high. like over 950OQ wood. This is used in the organic slot and with no PE or FL it works great. Then find some high OQ,PE,FL flora. (note sure exactly what kind i use tubers asnd have for the longest time) Then by far the hardest part is getting 20k of meat per a run. this meat needs to be high OQ,PE,and FL as well. Your best bet is to head to the BE forum and read up on how to make chef tissues. This way you know exactly what you need and why. My BE only charges 50k (if he charges at all depeends on his mood) and then factory time and factory power/maint is all it costs me.

yeah thats your best bet, if you have a scout friend in your guild ask him to hunt with you, something big that is spawning good meat. then find a nice BE willing to make you a schematic. that way all it costs you is maintenance for the factory, and maybe a little for resources that you cannot obtain on your own.

I see you're on Radiant... hopefully you've jumped on the recent spawn of Yavin Tubers, they're awesome for BE Nutrients, 1000oq, 953pe 872fl. And the current Dathomir carnivore meat is pretty decent as well, and very easy to harvest large chunks...

High OQ wood is indeed useful, when I was still BE I managed to pick up a LOT of 990 OQ wood by contracting out for it ... then again, 10 stacks probably isn't that much to some people.

Thanks guys for the input...i will now try to get together some decent resources in prep for when i find a friendly BE who wants to make me a schem or two.
Oh and Stew, I have a few friends who have been kind enough to donate me a small amount of that decent meat, but i hadn't even noticed the tubers on swgcraft. Man, it is so strange not having my MBH MPistoleer template to go hunting down good meat. But i am enjoying this crafting thang so far. Never tried it before.
Anyway, thanks again guys. Chefs certainly seem to be the most friendly class in game :-)
