- Component quality doesnt matter at all....and this includes Veghash for Vegeparsine
- Additive quality DOES matter. How much it matters depends on the particular food and the additive required.

Thanks ChefVomit! I think you were the one that posted to me before! I just wanted to make sure I didn't mis-remember or misunderstand!
Many many thanks!

ok for syopro, carbosyrup all that kind of crap use the crapest stuff you have. For additives it gets .01% more confusing. The actually BE tissues need good resources to hit 55/85/115 area. However the actual additive does not need good water. use the worst water you ahve (i just find a spot close to my house and throw up 2 moistures whenever it shifts). S

I third that!
I've been a chef for a long time and can verify that quality for the subcomponents doesn't matter. Give it a try. Buy some junk resources and some high end resources and make some food to see for yourself.

Hello all!
I'm a new chef, and I have a question. I asked this the other day, and while I did get an answer, someone contradicted that answer in game last night. My understanding is, that person is an "accomplished" chef. I have no reason to distrust the person that responded to my previous post last week than I do the in-game person, so I thought I'd ask one more time...plus I can't find that post to ask the person that did reply--I tend to agree with him anyway, but, here goes...
When if comes to sub components for foods, does quality matter? Meaning, can I use "grind quality" wheat, etc., for my Protato, Alcohol, and Soypro, etc.?
To that end, what about for the Bio-Engineered components? I haven't looked terribly closely at these yet, but I'm curious if there's a difference in these? My instinct tells me yes, indeed.
Thanks so much for the assistance. The chef community has been quite helpful!
