Thread: Experimentation is broken

I have quit experimenting with food because it doesn't seem to matter if it's an amazing success or a dramitic failure, the reult is random. Could be good, could be bad. I've had dramatic failures where I have seen huge increases in buff and duration and exactly the opposite effect with amazing success.

Experimentation definately needs to be fixed.

I noticed it last night as well.

Fortunately, fixing experimentation is one of the things that is getting pushed into the test center.

I've never lost anything on having a success..or gained anything by having a failure...but i have had both do nothing

Had this happen a bunch last night. Was making Almond Crunchies with my precious 2 experiment points. And was quite dismayed when a Great Success reduced the stats on the item by half. =P Happened several times, all degrees of success would randomly reduce stats, and some failures raised them.
