Chef Archive

Well the game has finally gotten to me. I was not able to log in for 4-5 days due to SOE not being able to process a payment and then I come back to find factories missing. There is a thread somewhat hastily explaining why I am leaving located here. It's been a hoot makign food/drink but when I spend a lot of time in game acquiring resources/paying maint-power etc, I do not expect factories to disappear because I either could not log in (due to SOE's fault) and update any costs in case they were needed or they simply poofed due to bugs (happened before to me and several other people I know).

I'm sorry if this is sounding rather negative but I am extremely angry at moment. I put a lot of hard work into my char + resources (not to mention paying for this priviledge of playing daily). Anyway, I would not have known what I do in terms of the chef I was in game if it wasn't for this forum and it's participants. Thanks to the immense effort of (just to name 3 top off my head) SirVimes, sciguyCO and saitek, many other people have learnt a lot of about the chef profession. I'm a bit sad to leave but well, if I didn't have shaved head, I'd probably have pulled all my hair out from sheer frustration in regards to all the SWG bugs and SOE staff...

Well, I hope everyone has fun in the game, I wish I just could have let the good things outweigh the bugs and poorly written content, sadly it did not in my case.

I can completely understand why you are so negative about this. I have said for a long time that one of the biggest flaws of this game is that you HAVE to log in, you can't really take a break and come back.

Wish you would stay,k but I understand hy you don't. Good luck.
