My alt has sold tons of foods and drinks, is on quite a bit and has not recieved a single UXP

I haven't thoroughly tested this, but I know you do NOT get UXP from factory-made foods.


I made, and handed out, a dozen protatos in my city's cantina a few weeks back, though, and saw UXP from that. Might be because I was close to them when they ate them?

It's a range thing. They have to be in close proximity to you in order to revieve the UXP.

so if i got someone to eat tons of soypro, i'd get xp if they were standing next to me while doing it?

What do you mean no longer? This has always been the case. As other have said, you only get usage xp when you are logged and standing right next to the person using your product. Other than that, you get no XP. You don't get any Xp from factories either.

You can eat the Soypro yourself, you'll get 50% more xp (and since it doesnt have a filling value, you can eat all you want eheh)

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it was if you were on at the same time. Guess i'll just have to follow my customers around..lol

i found that outa while ago, so i made crates and crates of it. but when i ate it, it gave me no xp

UXP is usage exp. You get exp from someone consuming your food, but both you and that person have to in close distance for you to get UXP.


I've tested this, and it works.

in beta, you *did* get xp from factory made items...and my thought was that you were still *supposed* to but you don't. the amount was like 5 or 10% of a handcrafed item.

and uxp..person did not have to be right next to you to earn uxp..at least not on tailor made items.

I used this technique until I hit Mix2. I did get the UXP for eating it.
